First, the prints are excellent reproductions, the portfolios are all well made and the price from is fantastic given how expensive these lithographs can be if purchased|About the Author||David Roberts (1796-1864) was one of the most acclaimed landscape painters of his time. He made an extended trip to Egypt and the Holy Land in 1838-39, during which he made the series of drawings that brought him lasting fame.|

Between 1842 and 1849, on the basis of sketches made on the spot and aided by his excellent memory, David Roberts produced the drawings that Louis Haghe turned into prints published by Francis Graham Moon.
